Two months and five days.
That’s exactly how long it is until the best blogging event of the year opens its doors to lots of lovely bloggers from all over the UK and beyond.
The Bloggers Bash, for anyone that doesn’t know (and where on earth have you been if you don’t), is an annual event for bloggers. It’s a physical meet up in London, England and it’s open to any blogger from any platform, in any country. There will be speakers, awards, a debate panel, lots of laughs and great conversation – what more could any blogger want? Continue reading
The Bloggers Bash is now less than 3 months away, which means the committee is frantic and hysterical behind the scenes. Or maybe that’s just me.
And if you don’t know what the Bloggers Bash is, DAMN you should. It’s an annual get-together for all bloggers from all platforms from all over the world, although it’s hosted in London. Wanna come meet your blogging buddies? Get your ticket here.
Each year we release the awards, and their new swanky logos, so you can see what you will be nominating and then voting for.
NOMINATIONS WON’T OPEN UNTIL MID-APRIL.
But for now, let me introduce this year’s ABBA’s (Annual Bloggers Bash Awards). Continue reading
If you don’t know what the Bloggers Bash is by now, then you must live in the dark ages. It’s an annual get-together for bloggers from any platform blogging about any content, from any country in the world (although the event itself is held in London).
This year the bash is on the 10th June, you can buy your tickets from here.
Last year, we had a lovely guest speaker, Lucca from WordPress. This year, we have two amazing guest speakers planned… for those of you who attended, be assured their presentations are much shorter! (announcements soon)
BUT we also want to host a panel debate. Continue reading
This is your FINAL WARNING. The Bloggers Bash Blog competition is closing tomorrow. If you want to enter to win a HUGE goody bag of blogging awesomeness, then you better get your entries in now.
There are just 24 hours to enter. The Competition closes at midnight tomorrow.
For the details of the competition and how to enter, you can check out the post here.
I can’t quite believe it, but the bash is nearly three years old. *Weeps with pride*
Each year it continues to grow in size which means what we do needs to grow in size too.
Sure, it’s a big blog social, but that doesn’t mean we don’t take it seriously. What started out as one nosy blogger more desperate to meet the friends she’d made online than stay safe and introverted behind the screen, is slowly turning a beast.
One day, I hope, the BASH will be a huge blogging festival. I can dream, right? Besides, I brainwashed the minions into obedience before they knew what they were signing up to and I have plans to recruit more. SHHH, they’ll never know.
So this year, we decided to overhaul the Bash, logos and all. The lovely George Grey, used by both Geoff and Hugh for their cover designs, has upped the BASH anti and given us a much slicker look.
Ladies and gents, the new bash logo… Continue reading
Today is a glorious day because it’s the day I sprinkle the Bloggisphere with magical glittery unicorn dust. Gathered using only the opposable thumbs of dwarf pixies and phoenix feathers dipped in liquid gold.
Wait, no. What I mean to say is,
THE BLOGGERS BASH TICKETS ARE NOW ON SALE
Get them while they are hot folks because the venue does have a capacity limit, and that means tickets are limited.
It’s first come first serve. So, once the tickets are gone, you ain’t getting in. We have bouncers. **
Tickets are £10 that’s ten pounds sterling and can be brought using the PayPal button at the bottom, your ticket will be sent to you before the event.
And don’t forget, if you want to be in with the chance to win a bucket load of blogger and author prizes, we are running a blogging competition here, which closes at the end of Feb.
Well, folks, if you’re not on the Bloggers Bash mailing list, then you won’t have heard, but the committee has secured a venue. Yes, blogettes, the Bash is well and truly back, and trust me when I tell you, this year is going to be even bigger and better than last year.
If you don’t know what in the fuzzy bear I’m chirpsing about then where have you been for the last two years? The Bloggers Bash is an annual get together in London, England, for any and all bloggers. Doesn’t matter your platform, your theme, your content, or your word usage, if you blog, you’re welcome to come.
During the day we reveal the results of the Annual Bloggers Bash Awards as well as chat, talk writing, gossip, hug, hug and hug a bit more, eat, drink and be merry.
Ever wanted to meet the friends you’ve made blogging? Desperate to turn the virtual hug into a real one? Well now’s your chance.
June 10th 2017 will see the return of the 3rd Annual Bloggers Bash. Continue reading
*Wipes brow* PHEWWWWW, it’s all over. Can’t fricking believe it. The bash consumed me for the last couple of months. So much so, I actually took an entire week off the blog… AN ENTIRE WEEK WITH NO POSTS… I KNOW. Try not to fall over. I was shocked too. I didn’t even put up a fight!
It was spectacular. I loved every minute and wanted to do a little reflecting on the event before I swiftly
force ask the committee to start work on next year’s do. (I gave them one day off. I’m nice like that!) *snigger*
But it’s all over, I really can’t believe it. First and foremost, a massive thank you to all of you, we had an enormous 6331 votes cast this year, and that is all down to you, the bloggers for helping to share the awards. So thank you <3 Continue reading
Twas the night before
Christmas the Bloggers Bash and four little bashers were busy squirrelling away final plans, stuffing winners envelopes and getting ready for the morning. The days of google hangout conference calls are over, Sacha has finished her counselling to stop saying ‘what about another poll?’, the committee has been united and the bash is on the final countdown.
But a rumour abounded that some BOOB was on the loose, and wanted to sabotage our plans. He/she/it/genderneutralbaddie would be in disguise. But which one would be outed/thwarted/twatted? Sacha said she was having none of it and maybe we should re-open nominations….
We are finally on the count down to the bash, peeps.
I am so excited I really ought to be wearing a sports bra what with all the bouncing up and down.
So far we have announced the totally-off-the-chart-gorgeous venue here. Then we announced our blogger extraordinaire and guest speaker Luca here.
But now, now after months of waiting I can officially say, that nominations for the bloggers bash awards are
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOMINATIONS ONLY. VOTING DOES NOT OPEN UNTIL 19th May Continue reading
