I use post notes. Later when I come back to that page I’d remember why I marked and sometimes I’d copy that line or interesting words, unknown words to cultivate my writer’s self. But taking a pic is a great idea.

Great post! When I read, I tend to have a pencil nearby for, as you say, collecting words and beautiful turns of phrases. I started doing this to learn and remember English words I didn’t know and it has turned into a bit of a literary obsession now.
