Oh, I’m the same – I fell behind on blogs when I was publishing No Quarter and I still haven’t caught up! We are going to San Francisco and then driving down to Cambria, about halfway between LA and San Fran. I haven’t been to that part of the world for 30 years, so am keen to see it again 🙂

I love steam trains! I haven’t yet gone out to research things like this (though I’ve done it the other way around – incorporated things I’ve experienced into my writing) but I think maybe I should. Great post.
