I deliberately set super low targets on my list because then I know they’ll get done. For example, if I write ‘add 300 words to novel’, then I won’t just add 300. I might add 900 or 1500, depending on my mood. Either way, I’ve hit my minimum, and everything else is a bonus. Whereas, if I put ‘write next chapter’, I’d put it off, because it’s too vague and seems too ‘big’.
