My top 3 Graphic Novels: Saga, The Sandman. The Wicked & The Divine. I had to stop at 3 or I wouldn't be able to stop.

My co-author and I have tabled a graphic novel series in our story world we are crafting. For now the focus is on finishing the primary series, then expanding the story world. I was happy and validated after reading You're Gonna Need A Bigger Story by Houston Howard, since he argues for a transmedia approach to storytelling that my co-author and I firmly believe in. For us, the graphic novel will serve to convey a more fantastical and foreign portion of our story that doesn't fit in YA Dark Urban Fantasy, but would serve to expand the world while also being it's own piece of fiction.

Exciting to hear more talk on pursuing graphic novels for authors, and lots of great advice in this episode!
