That’s exactly how long it is until the best blogging event of the year opens its doors to lots of lovely bloggers from all over the UK and beyond.
The Bloggers Bash, for anyone that doesn’t know (and where on earth have you been if you don’t), is an annual event for bloggers. It’s a physical meet up in London, England and it’s open to any blogger from any platform, in any country. There will be speakers, awards, a debate panel, lots of laughs and great conversation – what more could any blogger want? Continue reading →
I can’t quite believe it, but the bash is nearly three years old. *Weeps with pride*
Each year it continues to grow in size which means what we do needs to grow in size too.
Sure, it’s a big blog social, but that doesn’t mean we don’t take it seriously. What started out as one nosy blogger more desperate to meet the friends she’d made online than stay safe and introverted behind the screen, is slowly turning a beast.
One day, I hope, the BASH will be a huge blogging festival. I can dream, right? Besides, I brainwashed the minions into obedience before they knew what they were signing up to and I have plans to recruit more. SHHH, they’ll never know.
So this year, we decided to overhaul the Bash, logos and all. The lovely George Grey, used by both Geoff and Hugh for their cover designs, has upped the BASH anti and given us a much slicker look.
Today is a glorious day because it’s the day I sprinkle the Bloggisphere with magical glittery unicorn dust. Gathered using only the opposable thumbs of dwarf pixies and phoenix feathers dipped in liquid gold.
Wait, no. What I mean to say is,
THE BLOGGERS BASH TICKETS ARE NOW ON SALE
Get them while they are hot folks because the venue does have a capacity limit, and that means tickets are limited.
It’s first come first serve. So, once the tickets are gone, you ain’t getting in. We have bouncers. **
Tickets are £10 that’s ten pounds sterling and can be brought using the PayPal button at the bottom, your ticket will be sent to you before the event.
And don’t forget, if you want to be in with the chance to win a bucket load of blogger and author prizes, we are running a blogging competition here, which closes at the end of Feb.
This is it. These are your Bloggers Bash Awards. BIG thank you to everyone who made suggestions. The committee spent an entire evening discussing all of them. Lots of them were similar or connected to each other, so rather than take each one specifically we have tried to incorporate as many as possible under the awards we have chosen.
We have a number of new awards this year, and some changes to the old ones.
For those new to these awards, they are part of the Annual Bloggers Bash. A physical get together in London, England, every summer. This year’s is on June 11th, if you’re interesting in attending then drop us a line on:
You can find more information here, information about the venue here. If you can’t make it but want to follow electronically, you can join the facebook group here, or use the hashtag (#)BloggersBash to follow the feed live on the day.
We are not accepting nominations YET. We will be open for nominations for the awards on April 22nd. So in the mean time, have a think about who you want to nominate and who you think deserves these awards.
Finally, if you would like a bloggers bash t-shirt then Geoffle will be taking pre orders during April, so hop over to his blog and ensure you follow him for the latest news on them. Continue reading →

The bash is open to everyone, whether you blog about writing, cooking, parenthood, beauty, fishing or anything in between, this is the event for you. AND irrespective of blogging platform – so if you have friends from other platforms please let them know.
The event is open to any blogger from any blogging platform – and please, if you aren’t a wordpress blogger – share this post.
This is the chance for you to meet (in real life) all those firm friends you have made through blogging. This year, the bash is on Saturday the 11th June, in London, England.
I said we had plans. We do. The first of those plans is the exciting news that we have secured a venue. And boy is it amazing. Continue reading →
The biggest blogging event of the year is here. If you have blogging friends, comrades or just fancy being nosy, then this event is for you. I am organising the first Bloggers Bash. An opportunity for you all to get together and meet the friends you made through blogging, in person.
Everyone is welcome. If you fancy joining us for the bloggers bash in London this summer then read on… Continue reading →
Seeing as I offered to organise a get together, I should probably put my money where my mouth is and do some actual organising.
Sorry to those across the pond – I’m still working on the technology involved in that part, so this is for the European lot – unless those across the pond fancy a trip to the UK for a summer vacation that is…
