What is it about anti-heroes that’s so damn appealing? I can’t help myself. If the protagonist is an anti-hero, I am like a salivating dog. I cant get enough of whatever it is I am reading or watching. I’m a self-confessed Antihero Addict. I want to explore what it is about them that we all love so much.
We all love to hate bad guys, and you gave me some fantastic additions to my villain list last week, (thank you). But what I love more than hating a bad guy, is a bad guy that makes me love with them before I hate them. It makes the hate so much more intense because the author cheated me, and I hate thinking of myself as gullible, so if they did get to me, then that makes them superbad in my eyes! So here are some simple tips to help you create superbad villains.

I had to coax myself into posting this. Not because I didn’t want to do a post for #1000Speak, but because bullying is one of those things that everyone has been affected by, and I am no exception. It’s all a little close to the bone. Bullying is one of those universal topics that touches the lives of almost everyone. But I want to focus on the positive. On why being bullied made me a better writer. Without having been bullied I wouldn’t have focused on writing in my youth, and I probably wouldn’t have realised writing was my dream.
